Angela_Bassett
Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the US. Her work has earned her recognition by the media and for her television performance since the 1980s. The awards she has won are the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and fostered by an aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. The mother of Bassett had divorced from her father at about five. Bassett and her younger sister then went to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. When she was in high school Bassett watched John Steinbeck's drama Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actor. After graduating from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980, with the Bachelor's degree of African American Studies, she went on to earn a Master's Degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. She dated Courtney B. Vance, an actress who was also at Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Master of Arts (Afro-American studies) in the year 1980. An M.A. in Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her main parts, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
